Someone please help me figure out how to get rid of this. It'll be two weeks on Friday that my back pain and sciatica have been so bad it's hard to walk. I was active and working out/going for walks up until it started to hurt this bad. I have tried stretching and the back brace waist band thing. But it's getting to the point it is difficult to stand up and when I walk I gotta hold onto something in case the sciatica makes me hips or legs give out

One thing that helped me a lot was sleeping with a pillow between my legs at night. A good chiropractor should be able to help too.

Chiropractor saved my life this week. It hurt so bad to move or walk at all and I went to the Chiropractor on Monday and I'm so relieved and can't believe I waited so long.

I’ve actually had it in and off since the first trimester. I just rest and put up with it. I do think my exercise ball (birthing ball) helps me a little bit. To sit on that and do all the hip movements that are supposed to help with delivery. And sometimes it feels better just to use it as a chair when nothing else is comfortable.

A back pillow for the car has helped me so much. Prenatal massages also helping the back pain and sciatica.

I've tried stretching and maternity bands and massages, so far no luck. I'm currently just stuck in my bed and even laying down or sitting hurts, just not as bad when I try to walk or stand.I'll be looking into a chiropractor hopefully they'd be able to help me.

That helps me a lot. I'm on it after waking up and it's becoming my new chair

Chiropractor! My hip pain and sciatica were so bad and after one trip to the chiropractor, I can stand up and walk without pain in my hips.

I am so sorry! I have bad sciatica too, it especially flares if I overdo it, and when laying down. Sleeping is not fun, and pillows do not help. Only elevating my legs on my husband's hip helps, and getting massaged all night when it hurts so bad and I am desperate.

To release the sciatica, lay on your side with a pillow between your knees and have someone dig an elbow in your butt cheek. It won't take long for them to find the nerve. Hold their elbow where it hurts until the pain starts to ebb, then dig a little deeper until it releases more and more. You can do this from the top to the bottom of butt cheek, working within the pelvis. My sports massage therapist used to do this for mine and now my husband does it for me almost daily. Chiropractic, maternity massage, and acupuncture will all help a looooot

I highly recommend putting a movie/show on while you do it. The nerve will release slowly and it takes awhile (also very painful...prepare to cry a little 🤪)
